Our History
Founded in 2025, Red Tent Textiles and Fiber arts is an invitation only home crafters Jewish women's group designed to connect home crafters in the Greater Boston area. You do not need to make Jewish crafts, but have a desire to add to your repertoire .
Who can join?
Inspired by professional organizations and the Pomegranate needlepoint groups, this group is designed to support Jewish women home fiber and textile crafters with community and ideas. Professionals welcomed, but know we are diverse in our skills. You do not need to currently be making Jewish crafts with your medium, but maybe have a desir

Professionals welcomed, but know we are diverse in our skills. You do not need to currently be making Jewish crafts with your medium, but maybe have a desire to stretch for a holiday or an upcoming milestone. We are primarily focusing on using crafts as a way to create more community.

Meetings
Our goal is to meet in-person three-four times between September to June each year. Members will try to commit to joining for all the visits for the year. If people decide to stay, please consider paying $18-$36 for the upkeep of our website and so we can buy some scissors and craft materials for meetings. The meetings will generally be

If people decide to stay, please consider paying $18-$36 for the upkeep of our website and so we can buy some scissors and craft materials for meetings.
